Bondage and Addiction

This is a daily occurrence in my neighborhood and alley. It’s really sad. Those who live here in Taft, CA or have lived here prior, know this scene far to well. Until people accept and realize there is a spiritual component to this addiction and drug it will never end. These people have given themselves over to bad choices and this has led them down a dark path. Everyone of us has made bad choices, some have just reaped the harvest more than others have. 
These people need deliverance and Jesus. It may sound cliché but that is the truth of the matter. If you can’t physically help them then pray for them, it’s just not enough to feel sorry for them. These people have a stronghold over them that only Jesus The Son of God can take from them. The demonic bondage and baggage these people are carrying is far to heavy for them and will lead them to spiritual and physical death and destruction. 

This addiction has led them to demonic bondage that has taken these people down the road of lying, stealing and then what? The lying will continue because the root cause of this is a certain liar named Satan. The thieving will continue because the root cause of this is a certain thief named Satan. And then what, murder? Who was a murderer from the very beginning? Satan was, the father of lies. The common denominator for this bondage/addiction is Satan.

There is a saying I heard once, “A liar is a thief and a thief is a murderer”. And its true. These people need prayer and deliverance. 

“A liar is a thief and a thief is a murderer is something that an old work buddy used to say. He said it was his mother’s saying. We talked about what it actually meant, and we eventually settled on  the meaning of “anyone willing to lie to you is likely to steal from you. And anyone willing to steal from you is likely to kill you.” I think that is a sound judgement. If you are convinced that a person is of so little value that you will lie to him and steal from him the fruits of his labors, you are already on the path of stealing from him his life. Obviously we can’t just execute liars and be done with it, but maybe we all should think carefully before we start lying. If you don’t start down the path, you won’t one day be strangling someone and stealing his stuff.” This article can be find here.

For those who understand the history of Taft then you’ll understand this paper I did 10 years ago. It still needs to be gone through and re-edited but you will understand why Taft was originally called Moros and then Moron. These are the foolish things of this world that could confound the wise.
