Even the most ridiculous movies have shown us things. Here are 2 examples…Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and Emoji Movie. They have been telling us and conditioning us for decades (actually longer).
Is the term “virtual reality” an oxymoron? In the movie Valerian, we are told by our “guide” that in order to see the other dimension (through the veil) you need to have your glasses and gloves on or it won’t work. And notice the other dimension is through the Arch. The tourists helmet has 312 on it…6, the number of man/beast.
What if I told you that the 3rd season of Stranger Things is considering using virtual reality for that season? Well they are.
NETFLIX has announced that they are open to this and will look into it. Could you imagine the Upside Down in your front room? Maybe it already is but you just don’t realize it yet? This all reminds me of the Black Mirror episode “Play Test”.
And then we have a cartoon, the Emoji Movie. We know that AI needs a host. Smart devices need a user. What’s the difference between a host and user?
Update: someone in the comments brought this to my attention. A new Steven Spielberg movie caked Ready Player One will be out in 2018. Here is a synopsis of the movie.
“In 2045, the planet is on the brink of chaos and collapse, but people find salvation in the OASIS, an expansive virtual reality universe created by James Halliday. When Halliday dies, he promises his immense fortune to the first person to discover a digital Easter egg that’s hidden somewhere in the OASIS. When young Wade Watts joins the contest, he finds himself becoming an unlikely hero in a reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical world of mystery, discovery and danger.”
There is a lot there and I will point out the obvious. They are using headsets and gloves for this world in 2045. The digital egg is similar to the egg of creation where the eight or Ogdoad come from. You have a reference to Oasis which brings you back to the Amazon series of the same name, where they are putting colonies on Mars. Notice the housing is no trailers that they call stacks. There are drones as security and satellite dishes everywhere. This is your future when your “vurtual reality” becomes more important than your real life.
And what’s the push to go back to the 80’s? Maybe they are pushing us to “virtual” 1984? By the way, the next season of Stranger Things will be in 1984. Figure that one out…
In the 2018 Stevn Spielberg film Ready Player One, an entire population of people are stuck living in small trailers where their only escape is through a virtual world called the OASIS. The users must wear visors and so-called haptic tech *gloves*. The creator of the virtial world dies leaving behind an Easter Egg in his program that the users race to find.

I hadn’t seen the trailer. Thanks. 2045 is the year Kurzweil says there will be the Singularity and this is the year they are in. And the egg, the mythos of creation coming from the egg. The Ogdoad or the eight. I’ll look into this more.

According to the book, from which the film is based, it will have plenty of occult reference, possible predictive program and of course plenty of number 6, and 66 to showcase hex-craft. I do plan to break down the film on release day.
