GOD told them both to take 5 clean beasts/fowls. A heifer, a sheep, a goat, a turtledove and a pigeon. He was a little more specific as to what Abram should do and use. The beasts NEEDED to be 3 years old. Was this a red heifer sacrifice? We will see this same sacrifice on Sept 27th on the Mount of Olives. It is still in the back of my mind if they are trying to pull a fast one and slide in a red heifer that’s not of age? I’m guessing that they will get the great darkness over them on Sept 28th.
