maOZim: the god of FORCES

This is a work in progress. I will be adding to it when I find time. It has been sitting collecting dust since last year.

Disclaimer: First off let me say this. I believe as have scholars over the centuries, that the maozim mentioned in Daniel 11:38 is the god of fortresses. What does that mean? It means the god that is honored by the man of sin is a god that needs to be worshiped in temples of gold and silver. You can see this god in temples/churches/synagogue/mosques around the world. This would bring us to our modern day where the Jews are hell bent on building a 3rd Temple, or if you will a fortress. I believe this is all connected to the god of maozim, but I also believe there are layers to this word and this is why we see the different translations of it.

Force, fortresses, mighty idols, asher (ashtoreth?) and dare (truth or..). This may not make sense now but it will soon. I believe this god of forces may be gods worshiped in temples made by men. These gods will be honored with silver and gold in these temples and I think this ecumenical 3rd temple that they have called a house of prayer is connected to Daniel 11:38, if it is for a future time. I honestly believe the invoking of the seventy nations and their Ba’alberith with Beelzebub like in the days at Shechem under the oak is connected to all of this. And I think the leader who will be honored in this estate will be none other than Jupiter himself, as it was in times of Antiochus with Zeus (one in the same).

Now that I have given most of it away with my disclaimer, let me explain. I have always been intrigued with Daniel 11:38. Was it speaking of the Syrian Antiochus who set up near Mount Scopus and then set up a statue of Zeus (Jupiter’s) bust? Or was this scripture for a future prophetic time? I tend to think that it is for a future tune but there is good arguement that it has already been fulfilled. It still has left scholars shaking their head. Who is the god of “forces” or “fortresses” that is worshipped that Daniel mentions. The Hebrew word is מָֽעֻזִּ֔ים‎(מָעֹוז) “maozim” and it’s plural. Maoz is singular and it comes from “uz”. It literally means a strong place i.e. fortress. There are some that will say that the KJV translation of this word shouldn’t have been forces.

I want you to read these different translations and think about what this maozim actually is. Is it a fortress or strong place? Or is it entirely something else? Here are a few translations of it.

KJV – But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

LXX – And he shall honour the god of forces on his place: and a god whom his fathers knew not he shall honour with gold, and silver, and precious stones, and desirable things.

LOGOS – And he shall honor the god of fortresses in his place: and a god whom his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold, and silver, and precious stones, and desirable things.

GENEVA – But in his place shall he honour the god Mauzzim, and the god whom his fathers knewe not, shall he honour with golde and with siluer, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

COVERDALE – In his place shal he worshipe the mightie Idols: & the god whom his fathers knewe not, shal he honoure with golde and syluer, with precious stones and pleasaunt Iewels.

BISHOPS – But in his place shall he honour the God Mauzzun, and the God whom his fathers knewe not, shall he honour with golde and siluer, with pretious stones and pleasaunt thinges.

The second image below is from a spanish translation. It says “dare” which ironically the modern Hebrew on Google translated it as DARE. Like TRUTH or DARE? Remember the movie Truth or Dare based in Mexico? If not then read this about the demon Calyx.

You can see when putting Daniel 11:38-39 in Google Translation on how it interprets the Hebrew in our modern day. This may be a clue to what this god of forces and strange god is representing.

Now look at verse 39. When it mentions the “stronghold with a strange god” it mentions Asher. Asher was a son of Jacob and his name means ‘happy one’. His mother was Zilpah, Leah’s handmaid. Asher was symbolised by the olive tree representing the olive oil they produced meaning the Holy Spirit. I don’t think Asher is the strange god mentioned here. Scholars believe the name Asher is also represented by Asherah. Ironically, the name Asher becomes associated in the O.T. with the demonic divine feminine Asherah which is translated as ”grove of trees’. Hee you have the forbidden practice of sacrifice in the tree groves. You also seehe Asherah pole or May Pole that is related. It represents the phallus.

Then consider this “In Zohar, when speaking of the sons of Jacob/Israel gathering around his death bed to receive blessings – gathering them fittingly, or perfectly, it is taught – the blessing given to Asher is given special mention.

From Asher, rich is his bread…
Tying this to a verse from Judges, Asher dwelled by the shores of the sea and settled by his coves.
Asher seems to be key in the imperfect being gathered perfectly. It is part of the Divine name Eheieh Asher Eheieh and is said to mean which, who, whom, whose, that. Perhaps Asher is implying a pivotal place or point in time and space of becoming? A point of blessing from the Mother or an influx of the Supernal? Where what is intended or willed comes into being?Link

You will see why I bring this verse up later. There seems to be a phallus, sea and divine feminine connection when looking all of this through esoteric glasses. “This goddess is known from several other Ancient Near Eastern cultures. Sometimes she is known as “Lady Asherah of the Sea” but could be taken as “She who walks on the sea.” As Athirat, a cognate name for Asherah, she is mother of 70 children (this relates to the Jewish idea of the 70 guardian angels of the nations).
Asherah or asherim refer to more than just the person of the deity. These terms are often, especially in the Biblical texts, used for consecrated poles. These poles represent living trees, with which the goddess is associated. Some scholars believe that asherim were not poles, but living trees (like the one depicted on the Tanaach Cult Stand). The poles were either carved to look like trees or to resemble the goddess (this could also be reflected in the numerous pillar figurines found throughout Israel).Link

Here is what Daniel 11:39 really says. “And he shall do thus in the strong places of refuge with a strange god, and shall increase his glory; and he shall subject many to them, and shall distribute the land in gifts.

MARS

This excerpt comes from 2013 from Clyde Lewis at Ground Zero. They associated maoz with Mars, the god of war.

“According the Biblical scholar David Flynn, The God Of Fortresses is a God from Mars. The war-like Extraterrestrial God. The Hebrew word for the God Of Fortresses is Ala Mahozim. In Hebrew the root word for fortresses is mahoz (MARS) which means the “place of strength” or “stronghold”. According to biblical prophecy, the highly feared Antichrist pays tribute to this “god” which is the Lord of the Sky and space, Baal.

Besides the already established connection with Baal, or his full name in this case, Baalhazor, “Lord of the Fortresses”, there is a curious parallel between this Ala Mahozim and the god Melkart, worshiped in the island kingdom of Tyre. This god was supposedly brought to the island by Astarte after he had fallen from the heavens. His name means, “King of the Fortresses”.

When the god of fortresses is mentioned, there are many interpretations but the prevailing interpretation is that the fortress is the fortress for war and the warrior gods are the Ala Mahozim. They are the gods that come from the sky and anciently were believed to have lived on Mars.

When one refers to the Ala Mahozim or the god of fortresses, they may also be referring to human warriors or warlike leaders that declare themselves gods. They all seem to have the same characteristics. Many of them have connections to Mars, Egypt, Sumer Sirius and the constellations Canis and Ursa Major.

At this time we are focused on the events that have happened in Syria. Syria stems from the Dog Star Sirius or the faithful companion of Orion the Hunter god. Persia or Iran stems from Perseus, the one who hides the secrets of Algol the winking eye of the demon star.

The Mars connections to Egypt, the connections to the blue blooded “gods’ of Syria and the cosmic Persian secret are only part of the equation.LINK

JUPITER

Jupiter is Baal. This comes from wiki but it is just a reminder as to who Jupiter represents. Ba’al or the lord of the air. We know Ba’al is only a title but Jupiter is their supreme “lord”. “Jupiter (from Latin: Iūpiter [ˈjuːpitɛr] or Iuppiter [ˈjuppitɛr][3], from Proto-Italic *djous “day, sky” + *patēr “father”, thus “sky father“), also known as Jove (gen. Iovis [ˈjɔwis]), is the god of the sky and thunder and king of the gods in Ancient Roman religion and mythology.

I’m pointing out both Mars and Jupiter because these are both “gods”. I looked at the hebrew for this word maoz and found some interesting connections.

When looking at this word from a esoteric standpoint you see some strange connections with these “gods”.

Water. Eye. Weapon/Harvest Tool. Hand. Water.

Womb. Fountain. Phallus. Hand. Womb.

Hanged Man. The Devil. The Lovers. The Hermit. Hanged Man.

Neptune. Capricorn. Mercury. Virgo. Neptune.

MaOZim.
What does it mean in a esoteric view?
